The Templates tab changes the whole layout of the card; your details stay as they are. The Design tab changes colours, the cover, and whether the card follows the phone’s light or dark mode.

In a team workspace, the logo and colours set in Settings → Brand appear on everyone’s cards, so the company looks the same on every one.
